It’s September 2018 and  the 2nd last day of our workshop retreat in Bali. Most of the group decided to climb Mount Batur. Mountain climbing is so not my scene; neither is waking up at 2am. So I stayed and so did another 2 delegates.

While the rest went off on their volcano excursion, another delegate and I went to Ubud to run an errand. The scenery along the route to Ubud was enough to make me cry with gratitude and inspiration. Trees and valleys everywhere. In Ubud we found a beautiful little restaurant with some of the best coffee ever!

After getting a take away coffee, sitting in the park in the serene and tranquil surroundings of Ubud, we asked the driver where the Waterfalls are we’ve heard about, but have not had the time to visit.

To our surprise, he says that it’s just around the corner and he’ll take us quickly. Oh boy! I was not prepared to have my breath taken away quite as rapidly and quite as profoundly, as it was when I laid my eyes on that waterfall.

Yeah, it was a waterfall like any other I guess. But there was another reason it took my breath away.

You see, for days I lead my group of delegates through some pretty intense and deep transformative learning and experiences. And I intuitively knew it had to be commemorated with a cleansing ritual.

Bali has beautiful temples where you can do a cleansing ritual, but when we visited a few days back, my intuition said that it’s not yet time and that that was not the place.

So imagine my awe when I came to see this waterfall and instinctively knew that THIS was the place.

On our return to our private villa, excited to everyone  about the waterfall discovery but of course everyone is asleep, totally exhausted from their escapades up the mountain.

We’re departing the next evening, so I arrange for the driver to fetch us again the next day to take us all to that waterfall.

What a moment we each had!

I watched how each delegate gently had tears streaming from their eyes, deeply emotional, as they each said their special goodbyes, not just to Bali. But more so to what Bali has taken from them. The retreat took old patterns of being from each one of us. It took the old paradigm away and in so doing, it undoubtedly catapulted each of us to our next stage of evolution. It took away the veils of doubt and falsehood from our eyes so we could step into our next greatest expression of self.

There was liberation in this moment.

There was an air of freedom to become.

There was trepidation for what lies ahead, but courage to EMERGE fearlessly into our best self.

Together with 2 other gorgeous delegates, we went to the closest point of the waterfall we were safely allowed to go. There we stood for what seemed a lifetime…and it was lifetimes… We let go of lifetimes of conditioning in that moment. We cried. We laughed. We screamed in freedom. We stood firm in silence.

And then, then we emerged, leaving behind all that we released from our souls.

You cannot reach your highest truth, your soul’s very mission, in the absence of awareness and consciousness. Now is the time to step up and shine!

My massive conscious shift came about when my first born and only son was recovering from his 1st brain tumour and my business at the time wasn’t who I chose to be any longer. (Yes that’s right. Your business is a reflection of who you are). So I changed direction towards my true North and took the plunge in starting my coaching practice. No clients, no money, no networks – just me! Today I have an established global coaching, training & retreat practice, serving people in over 20 countries. I have 100% success & satisfaction rate in my training courses, retreats, coaching and business courses. My business clients have at least tripled their income in the first year of working with me and I’d be honoured to be part of your emergence journey.
